Help people with developmental disabilities build routines, make choices, and participate in community life. Location and program availability vary.
What you’ll do
- Provide person-centered support aligned with an approved plan
- Teach and reinforce daily-living and community skills
- Support safe participation in appointments and activities
- Complete timely notes and incident reporting
- Communicate professionally with families and the support team
What this role requires
- At least 18 years old
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Ability to complete background and program-required screening
- Calm, respectful response to behavioral or communication needs
- Reliable transportation when required by the assignment
Helpful experience
- DSP, habilitation, respite, behavioral-support, or caregiving experience
- Experience supporting developmental disabilities
- Current CPR/first-aid or prevention-and-support training
