What you’ll do
- Use approved teaching strategies tied to individual goals
- Support skill practice at home and in the community
- Encourage choice, self-direction, and the least necessary support
- Document progress and barriers accurately
- Coordinate professionally with supervisors and support teams
What this role requires
- At least 18 years old and authorized to work in the United States
- Ability to complete required background, fingerprint, and program screening
- Ability to learn and follow individualized teaching strategies
- Clear written documentation and calm communication
- Completion of assignment-specific training before independent work
Helpful experience
- Habilitation, DSP, education, behavioral-support, respite, or caregiving experience
- Experience documenting measurable goals
- Current CPR and first aid
