What you’ll do
- Maintain familiar routines and a safe environment
- Provide supervision and approved personal support
- Engage the person in appropriate activities
- Follow emergency, communication, and documentation procedures
- Provide a clear handoff to the family or responsible person
What this role requires
- At least 18 years old and authorized to work in the United States
- Ability to complete required screening and training
- Reliable scheduling and punctuality
- Comfort supporting individual communication and behavioral needs
- Sound judgment and professional boundaries
Helpful experience
- Respite, childcare, disability support, education, or caregiving experience
- Current CPR and first aid
- Flexible evening or weekend availability
